I came off effexor 11 days ago, I've had my share of physical side effects and I'm on an emotional roller coaster, but one of the reasons I stopped the damned things was the fact that my sex drive vanished after two weeks on it.

I've taken SSRI's before and found my sex drive came back immediately on stopping.

With effexor there's no sign of it coming back at all. This is very upsetting for me to start with, but my partner has no sympathy whatsoever which is really causing problems between us.

I don't want to go on any more a/d's if I can avoid it. Has anyone been in a similar position, when did your libido come back !? or did it come back !?
