If you are 3 months pregnant and the older child is 14 months old, then the older child will be 20 months by the time the baby is born.

It is not too bad.

My daughters were 24 months apart. They played nicely together and bonded well, and in the end the spacing worked out really well.

Make sure to get an IUD at 6 weeks postpartum, to prevent future unexpected pregnancies. Mirena IUD has the best side effects profile and is extremely effective.

Planned Parenthood should be able to see you for free or at a very low cost for the 6-week-postpartum visit and insert the IUD. You will then need to use condoms for a month, just in case.
