Old T - can't believe the next session could be our last ever. I'm going to miss you terribly and I wish I didn't have to make this decision but I have to be objective and separate my needs from my desires. I need some space to work out whether our relationship is therapeutic and healthy before I decide whether to come back.

New T- you seemed nice in your email. I'm hoping that your years of experience will help me work out my feelings for old T. I hope you don't judge him because he is the sweetest most empathic person I have ever met. I am feeling protective of him and I hope you understand that and tread carefully.
