Three favorite movies:
The Matrix: I think it had out done Star Wars philosophically. Star Wars has the potential to be something profound, but sadly, I feel it's dumb down for the masses. Don't get me wrong, I still love Star Wars though. Another challenger for philosophical movies is Fight Club, and there was plenty to learn from it. However, it was too dark and I couldn't learn enough uplifting and elevating things from it.

Monty Python's Holy Grail: I didn't see this until I was about 20 year old, and I didn't think much of it then. However, the more I see it the more I fall in love with it. There are too many memorable characters in it. The peasants working the field, Prince Herbert, the chaste knight, the black knight, the list goes on!

Hackers: This movie has stuck with me because it brings up nostalgia. There are so many great one liners in it. I can quote half the movie by heart. "Her software matches her wetware" lol. "Spandex--its a right, not a privilege!"
