I have a ruptured disc in my low back that impinges on the sciatic nerve. So I have the sciatica down my left leg as well as some discomfort down the right leg as well. I have never noticed that it is particularly affected by the weather. I do a combination of some physical therapy exercises I learned plus yoga asanas most days. I also walk quite a bit. I'm careful about bending & lifting too. These things help to keep my level of discomfort as low as possible. (I also have tinnitus. And although it's not painful, it certainly is chronic... & difficult to live with...)
