My endocrinologist told me that vitamin D deficiency is on the rise because of all of zealous “avoid the sun” mentality. He also explained that low vitamin D levels can cause abnormal liver enzyme results in lab tests. It took a few months, but I do feel better. My hair is not falling out in clumps and my skin isn’t as dry. I take 2k units per day when I take my night Meds.
