i try to stay away from 'prepared' foods,, they tend to be high in odd chemicals, preservatives, texturizers, etc.... my home made soups and casseroles are all chem free, fried taters, baked (roasted) beef in gravy, fresh veggies and salads.... i do admit to indulging in the odd breaded shrimp or spring roll (or both), but rarely.... being poor has it's advantages..... i like to cook enough for several days or more, freeze some, and have 2 kinds of meals in the fridge.
honestly, i've never eaten this well in my life~! i didn't know food could be such a big part of my life, and soooo pleasurable,,, it's a wonder i'm not gaining instead of loosing weight~!
yep, down 6 lbs and holding steady since i started eating salads again, or maybe it was the vitamin D3, dunno, but i like it~!
