I do think your doctor is trying to keep you healthy!

When women are not in menopause, they need to menstruate to shed the lining of the uterus. If this lining thickens, it can lead to cancer.

I can understand how you are having all kinds of difficulties due to your period and you are suffering quite a bit!

Any chance you could be as honest with your doctor?
She may have a way to help you out. Your feelings (and symptoms) are not "unusual," as in you won't be shocking your doctor. I think she can help you!
