If you go through a period of time where you are not eating enough, it is quite normal to have this be followed by a period of binge eating, because the body is hungry.
The best way to normalize this, is to eat consistently. If you feel unsure, seek advice from parents, doctors, nutritionists, therapists, etc., so you have a healthy diet plan to eat from. Even if you suffer from low appetite, or urges to restrict, it is better in the long run to stick to a healthy eating plan. This will not only prevent restriction, but ALSO prevent the binges that follow.
