I know the level of depression that means I should go to the ER, but what about anxiety?
I had an episode last week in which I was anxious to the point of my reasoning being extremely impaired, you know? Sort of a point of no return in which not much would be able to calm down.
I assume you'd go to the ER and they'd give you an injection to calm you down.

I would not go to the DR for anxiety no matter how bad. I would definitely call my psychiatrist. You will sit and wait at the ER for hours because it won't be a priority.
