Hi

I'm a member but haven't been active for a while. I was looking for some information. I have been on Seroquel for half a year and before that Clozaril. the Seroquel gave me horrible side effects. I would sleep until 4pm eat some dinner, feed the cats and go back to bed watching Netflix. I kept leaning to the left severely and couldn't control it, had massive headaches. Couldn't keep my balance walking particularly at night and getting up in the morning, was hallucinating really badly, and my mood swings (though I am on Depakote and Lamictal). So I called in to my doctors nurse and told her my situation and by Friday had a new prescription for Zyprexa.

Now that I am on it I feel pretty good. I'm sleeping better with no nightmares, have my balance back and my mood swings and burst of anger, rage, under control but am having bouts of crying; like I'm depressed but that isn't me. I'm a manic person that also takes about 2-3 Klonopin a day. What I want to know is those of you on it can you give me some long term results... the pros and cons. I haven't read much up on it and I know with most antipsychotics weight gain is terrible and I already eat enough junk food.

I'm also lonely and would like a pen pal with SZA also. You can read my profile but the med list has changed a lot since then and haven't had time to update it. Thanks everybody. Enjoy your week.
