Do you have an assigned nurse, in the evenings? Every time I've been IP, I've had a nurse assigned to me for the day, and then someone else for the evening. They were supposed to speak to us at least once a shift, and help us with material we were given to work through. And if I just needed to talk, I'd just go to the nursing station and say I need to talk to my nurse, and if she wasn't busy, she'd come out and sit down and talk with me. It was great, but then again I was in an exceptionally good psych hospital - don't know how it would be at others.
