I do work full time with school vacations and snowdays off. I've been moved around internally over the years into better paying positions each time. I remain networked and keep my resume current. My employer pays for professional certifications etc so that too keeps padding my resume. And it allows me to remain true to a core value in parenting that I hold which is being here for them. Not that every day is a bed of roses but I'm following through on what I set out to do. I mean my kids are reaching teenage years in unison and here it is afternoon and I'm home with them.
