Well... I have to say, in all honesty, I can't think of many favorite memories. It's not even that I had all that bad a childhood. It's just that almost every memory (the few I have left... as I get older-&-older they're becoming fewer-&-fewer) that should perhaps be a good memory is tied to some other memory that's not.

I guess one memory I have of which I am fond is traipsing through the woods & fields where we lived while I was a teenager... especially in the spring & fall. I'd put on my coat, hat & rubber boots ("packs" we called them back then) & go wandering about all alone. Remembering it brings a smile to my face. I wish I could do it again. But, even if I did, it wouldn't be the same...
