I am paying back my mom and brother. Once that's done I can afford a car payment. So my goal is to buy a certified used car next year around Sept/Oct. I'm pretty sure my car will last that long but has 212k miles on it. I like the car but feel like I should get into something newer.

It's a tough decision because no car payment to car payment but I'm trying to be smart about it. I have a car in mind but am flexible mostly a price I want to be around. But I care about certain aspects of a car that will influence my decision.

I am building my credit so I should get a good interest rate, I hope.
