I'm so sorry you're struggling, ken9018 It's really not easy to develop a relationship when you're struggling with mental illness. However don't let that stop you from trying anyway. You could start going to groups of people who have interests similar to yours, for example. I know it's not easy, but I think the more you try and exercise, the better you'll become. As for telling them about your MI, I'd suggest to be honest. There's no need to tell them immediately though. Just wait a few dates and, if you feel comfortable enough, you can decide to share this and see how it goes from there. I think this is valid for friends as well. I wish you good luck!
