I received a letter in the mail today that I have been summoned for my first jury duty and I sort of freak out. I have been overthinking the last few hours on what I should do because I can't go. It's scheduled for early next year and I have read that you are in a room with a lot of people and the judge asks you questions. I don't drive and going to an unfamiliar place that it's 22 miles away, when I only go outside the farthest is 3 miles. My mom tells me to get a doctor note because I have general anxiety, could that work to be excused?
