I got a friend of mine take me there. Usually they expect you to be presented there by a guardian. And I got a letter from my pDoc telling everything on it. And my T also recommended that I go inpatient.

I was not in a mood to make any decisions or anything. I was mostly sleeping and minimally alert. There was self harm and suicidality at that point.

My sister who was also a pDoc said it is pointless. But both my pDoc and T said otherwise.

While inpatient, they don't let you sleep all day and gets you involved in activities.

Nurses make sure you take all meds at the right time.

Looking at other patients I learned that I'm in a much better state than them.

There was ECT if necessary, but that was not needed for me. Most patients there was to mainly get ECT.

They were observing at all times to make sure we don't hurt ourselves.

I was told that there will be a psychological assessment, which didn't happen though.

Same goes with med adjustments that didn't happen. They didn't have my meds, I have to provide my own meds at admittance.
