Well, DSM V changed everything so it's just "autism spectrum disorder." But I know some people still use the term--I just don't think someone would get that diagnosis now, they'd just get ASD. When they were first trying to diagnose my daughter, they were saying that if the previous DSM still existed, she'd be more likely to get the PDD-NOS (pervasive developmental disorder-not otherwise specified) diagnosis if it still existed, but they rolled that into autism spectrum disorder as well.
