The vet and I concluded that Miette is deaf. She does not respond to any kind of sounds. I'm teaching her hand signals for things like getting her to come to me. I'm stumped how to teach her to stop doing things she should not. (I can hear some of you howling with laughter about training a cat, but they are trainable.) With all my other cats I make a kind of growley when they are doing something I want them to stop doing. It's pointless with Miette. She can't hear me to begin with. Anyone have any ideas?

I had a deaf cat once before, but he was born with some hearing that he lost so I could use the training techniques I usually use to teach him.
