here where I live all alters are considered protectors because they are part of a persons system of alters due to a person needed to dissociate away from something triggering and an alter takes control to handle that.

on that definition from my locations way of looking at what is a protector I would say that all alters are able to post in any part of psych central even here...

that said it may be a bit slow here in regards to alters posting because DID isnt the kind of thing where people can plan to be this or that alter at just the right time that they are on Psych central to post in these sub forums for specific age grouped alters. it can be many days, weeks and months before someone may be so triggered by the right trigger on psych central that matches up with just the right alter to post. before I was integrated none of my alters could post on psych central because psych central usually doesnt trigger me into dissociating and the triggers that would result in my alters taking control are not associated with being on psych central....

example what triggered Rainy to take control was thunder storms. I dont take my laptops and computers out into a thunderstorm just so that I would have dissociated into being rainy while being on psych central. Thelma's triggers that resulted in her taking control was intimacy. and I dont go online when my wife and I are getting busy. so thelma would not have been able to post here even when I wasnt integrated.

see what I mean... because all the different things in a persons system of alters has to line up in order for alters to post here. they can its just that theres no predicting when and if ever they will.

the garden is for anyone whether they are dissociated into being an alter or not and they need a break from reading the hard stuff.

the teen forum is for teen aged alters to post about teen aged problems and so on but again its very slow because DID isnt the kind of problem that people can predict when they are going to be so triggered and upset that they dissociate into being just the right alter to post in a teen aged alter forum.
