That seems like a bit of a cop out.

I don't see why they can't make the ignore feature work on here like it does other places: if somebody has you on ignore you ignore them too and you see no more threads or posts created by them or any thanks/hugs given out by them. Such a rule would make things easier for everybody. People on ignore wouldn't have to see threads that may trigger them and people who have to put somebody on ignore wouldn't be penalized at all.

I can't be the only one who gets upset by things like this.

Still good to know though.
