I bet I would get manic on phentermine, so it is out of the question.
As for Contrave - I tried on my own, combining Wellbutrin and Naltrexone prescribed by my psychiatrist, but Naltrexone made me depressed, so I had to quit. I am now taking 12.5 mg Topamax and it helps curb the appetite, so I am quite happy. I am still taking Wellbutrin, thinking that it would not hurt.
