I would be into the psychedelic therapies if I were not on a steady resolution to stay away from psychoactive substances unless necessary for a medical reason. Well, I did my own explorations in my youth, even involving a few psychologists but without the fee.

Now my legal version of altered states is virtual reality devices and experiences. I work with some clinicians who are developing VR programs for therapy and have fun testing their tools sometimes.

I could imagine escape room experiences that are psychologically oriented, as a form of group therapy.
Escape Rooms | Breakout.

Lucid dreams and discussing them with a group. I did that also a lot in the past. Those dreams can be better to explore one's unconscious processes than therapy in my experience, but it takes some skill to develop and use.

Can you see that I like alternate realities?

Animals - I volunteered for a while with sea lions in the local zoo. For some reason I was obsessed with sea lions during that time.
