hi. sometimes, adding something helps. im not trying to suggest a massive cocktail, but...what are your remaining problems? when I was having agitated depression, celexa was a godsend. when i went into lethargy and fatigue mode, wellbutrin did the trick.
i dont take antidepressant drugs long term, because of my diagnosis. lots of people do, though...
a doctor could add remeron (sleep, anxiety, boost antidepressant effects...watch out for weight gain+sedation...), wellbutrin (stimulating), buspar (anxiety), even an antiseizure drug used in moody people (lamictal comes to mind...), off label drugs such as gabapentin (anxiety, agitation, mood)...
some people do well w/ ritalin or a low dose amphetamine added in. kinda old school, but...do what works. low dose lithium, low dose antipsychotics...
or maybe a different antidepressant, altogether? tricyclics are often effective when the more modern drugs have lost their power to keep the darkness at bay. tofranil, elavil, amoxapine, etc. etc. etc.
im -- not -- at all trying to push things on you, i just thought id point out that sometimes adding something (even something as simple as an Rx vitamin, Deplin) can make a big difference, or at least...
buy some time. the other thing is I think there's some cardio-thing w/ higher doses of celexa, maybe lexapro. :-(
sorry about your troubles. there's hope! :-)
