I've been watching The Godfather I and II a lot lately. I'm noticing symbolism everywhere. With the color orange, when the crows crow, how Vito came to the country with nothing as a child, and built a family, even taking the lawyer in as a child, and gave him an education. Vito has a soft heart, Micheal is kind of an family outsider and won't compromise, unlike his father.
