I disagree that treatment for this illness is simple. I would venture to say that DID is one of the most complex mental health issues due to its deeply rooted trauma, memory loss, etc. I do not think saying it is simple is the way to go. (I dont mean any disrespect)
involves memory loss/ amnesia.

Resolved immediately? I am not saying that someone with DID can't be happy or have a fulfilling life but I will say that the difficulties experienced could be considered "chronic or life-long". I am not an expert on this but as far as I know there are no cures available for most mental illnesses, especially DID.
