interesting thread. noticed the ovary test. if in america women have yearly physicals that include internal exams of the reproductive system just like the guys have periodic check ups on their reproductive/ prostate exams. its completely normal to have this happen either out patient or inpatient depending upon when its discovered that its time for a woman to have that exam.

one thing I discovered was that part of the reproductive system is some hormones are regulated by ovaries. (Which is why they did not remove mine after my last child was born) when these reproductive hormones are either missing or lacking weird things can happen. so to rule in or out problems they also check the reproductive system and related hormone levels.
