every time a person has blood work their hormone levels are checked...
example when ever my doctors want to check my iron levels they take bloodwork that includes hormones, when I am losing or gaining weight too fast on comes the blood work that includes hormones, they keep track of my hormone levels because of my medications, they keep track of my hormones for many of my physical health problems...
my wife is diabetic keeping her hormone levels are very important.
my daughter gets frequent bloodwork that also includes hormones because of her mental and physical health problems.
there are literally hundreds of problems that hormones can cause if too much or too little in the body so they are usually part of many blood work panels.
