I agree. Maybe she has an obsessive or pathological tendencies. And she doesn't have a boyfriend herself to focus on, after 30 years?
People like that in social situations are unpleasant. But I'm sure others think more highly of you after seeing her true colors. Hopefully you don't have to see her too often.
