I love going to thrift stores also. I agree that it is the treasure hunt and retail therapy all rolled into one. A lot of people will go to a bar after work if it's been a tough day. I'll go to a thrift store. Nice dopamine buzz and I don't need a designated driver. My best score was a vintage knit Feragamo skirt for $2.95. I go the ARC stores mostly. Tuesdays are senior half price days so there is some benefit to being over 55. If I start accumulating too much stuff, I just donate it back.
