Well... honestly... I don't know the answer to this.
The older I get the less capable I seem to become at handling anything of a philosophical nature. Everything is pretty-much nuts-&-bolts to me, as the saying goes.
I just think that, whatever a person's circumstances, they simply have to strive to accept themselves just the way they are... whatever that is.
There are an avalanche of "shoulds" that family, friends, & society deluge us with throughout life. We should be this & we should do that, blah, blah, blah. F it all! (Don't
should on yourself.)
From my perspective, I don't have to be any particular way or do anything in particular, or even do anything at all. I just am & that's it. No justifications required.
At least that's the way I see it... for what it's worth.
