It was in a private home and hospice was the provider. Both the home health nurse and nurse practitioner knew of the problem expected me to treat it and
it was the grandson who called me. I don't know who gave him my number.
I should not have done what I did, and I did not have orders to do it and it was beyond my scope of practice.
It is pretty clear cut.
I sent my statement to my lawyer and will see what he says.

I have been calling and getting md verbal orders(some have refused) which makes me mad and one reason that I quit getting orders because I was having so many problems getting them.
And now need to figure out if my fax machine is working because I need to fax over ordersz for them to sign so they can fax me back.
I need to make a flo chart ledger to keep track of things.

sigh
This will be my frustrating life from here on out. The state board of nurses now found out about my business which they did not know of and will have to jump thru hoops now from now on.
