I'm sorry you're having to go through so many new hoops with your practice. I'm sure you'll get a system figured out eventually. Hiring your daughter's friend part time sounds like a good idea.
Rather than trying to keep track of things manually you might want to try to get help setting up a database of clients to track orders electronically.
I'm sorry you're drinking. I totally understand it, but it won't help things in the long run.
