I am sorry this is your experience. It is not mine at all. I do not think you can generalize a country this way. I think its the celebration of the individual that makes America a welcome place. I think sometimes we are jaded and suffer from a "grass is greener on the other side" sort of situation.

I do wish you wouldn't generalize like this. I do not believe most americans or most of any particular country are one certain way. By saying that you are demonstrating the very qualities you claim to be against.
