I would have him try again with costco but have them run it as "cash pay" Believe it or not, there are some meds that are cheaper to buy WITHOUT insurance. It's sickening that it's even legal , but it's the truth. I've taken it before, and I wouldn't call it a holy grail of meds. It's used for a couple fairly specific purposes. But it did pretty much save my life, or at least my job, until I was able to get surgery to help my sleep disorder. It's filthy greed that makes it so expensive
