Even tho she is well qualified is there a career type center she can hook up with to get leads on jobs in her area? What about agencies that hire out? Going online and looking? Is day travel an option for further away locations? She may have to take a job she didn't go to school for in the meantime in order to move to a location where she can work in her chosen field. Sometimes we have to take what we can get. Being a close friend just keep being supportive but maybe *kindly* bring up alternatives she might not want to hear that could bring her closer to her goals in the future. Idk. My two cents.
