I had a psych nurse that worked for my Pdoc and every time I would call in depressed and needing a med change she would put me inpatient... usually with the cops showing up at my house! She sent me in one time and I think she checked every box... full physical restraints, in a nasty, dark “watch” room, strapped to a metal exam table with a thin Matt on it, door locked... you’d think I was Hannibal or something, at least that was how I felt. The psych nurse on watch was very nice though... once I got out of watch onto the psych ward though they were nasty to me unless they wanted me to counsel another patient. They wrote me up for everything.
