The doctors or the lawmakers?

The shiny specced junior psychiatrist who believes the mentally disordered has a brain disorder. Highly appointed they relearn their education, upstairs. After 10 years in the job they learn the lunatic is human filth, quite literally. Even if they could ‘fix them’ they don’t because it goes against royal guidelines. They insist that a psychotic requires the drugs they prescribe. The trillion dollar business which leads to a lifelong medicated lifestyle upholds their top job.

The pharmacy bosses and other executives including law makers interested in profit and establishment. The lunatic must take century old medicine; natural defences are almost eliminated sometimes causing a lifetime of requiring medicines and ‘care’. 20% of schizophrenics kill themselves but treatment is still insisted. Their ties with the media and guideline organisation is used to distract the role of the stomach.

Both will refer to the anarchy before the current medicines came around. They probably might make mention of what great strides psychiatry has made progressing from a tool of hitler and the so barbaric psychosurgery/lobotomy treatment. However, both use the human suffering past current and future in a totally selfish way. Both know the stomach to be the cause of the mad persons anguish. Yet, each in their own way ensure ‘boxes are ticked’. Comfortable leather chairs are bought and the best mirrors in the land. The mad person is confined to their bed in agonising daily torment as the stomach is not something that is investigated.

Who is more terrible?
