I'm sorry for the unkind [and probably superficial] people out there...I have rich family and friends and they give me "the looks" because I don't dress nice or have a nice car like them. It makes me self-conscious. My social anxiety only adds to the sense of awkwardness.

You may want to stick to hanging out with just a few safe people in your life who will love you for who you are.
