Dnester... I have not seen any one on psych central posting that they want you gone or that you cant post here. after you posted this I went into your posts and threads to see what other members were replying to you. everyone here on psych central that is posting in your threads are trying to give you suggestions on how to help your problems with your "chatter"

if you are having a problem with members thats called an administrative issue. what you do for this is report the post to the moderators. they will help you solve this problem.

if the problem is by private message you can forwards that hurtful message to the moderators... example I keep all private messages that anyone sends me and that I make to others. this way if a problem ever comes up all I need to do is select forwards and put the names of all the moderators in the space of who to forwards it to. this way all the moderators get a copy of the pm and can talk together about the problem and come up with solutions.

On the other side since I dont see anyone posting hurtful things to you I thought of something else....

is this one of your voices telling you not to post here, not to be on psych central. thats a harder problem to solve. heres how I solved the problem...

I talked with my treatment providers. they explained to me that dissociation type alters are a special kind, they can hear and know whats going on, how else are they going to know when to be in control or when to comment on my activities right. So when one of my alters started telling me not to do something I answered them back....

my answer Sorry but you dont control what I do, I control me and right now I am on XYZ and am posting in this board. When you are in control then you can do what ever it is that you do, this is my time.

then I continue with what I was doing.

my suggestion dnestor is if this is a member follow what psych central rules say to do, report the problem. if this is a voice talk to them.

betty... yes I have noticed the boards around psych central have quieted down a bit. I think maybe a change with psych central has quieted things down. Doc john removed the option of watching which threads people are reading in the profiles so now people dont know where and which board their friends or enemies are on.

example if I saw you online and I wanted to know which thread you were reading and replying to, I could go to your profile and check what your "current" activity was. But now I cant do that. I can still find your threads by way of "find all threads" but not what you are doing right now.

on the good side people cant stalk each other anymore
on the down side its harder to follow your friends around the boards and only post where and when your friends are.

I have noticed anytime there is a change to psych central format things quiet down for a bit while people get used to the new ways.

another thing I have noticed is that if you get to know someone on one website you begin to realize that they are also on other websites.

Example I am on 8 different websites for dissociation and other problems right now. when one is very active I mostly hang out on the very active one, when another begins to be very active I spend a big portion of my time on that one then when another is very active I spend time on that one...

kind of like being at a social event in real life people mingle and go where the active conversations are or they sit on the side lines watching the activities.

Psych central is a great place for both going to different boards where the conversations are active and sitting on the sidelines watching when things are slow on each of the boards..

But psych central is also lacking for some....

example ...... no integration board and not very many postings about integration therefore no integration board is going to happen here, which means those of us that want to discuss this are doing so by pm, email or getting our needs met elsewhere for this.

not to mention here in america spring break is coming up or is in process depending upon school schedules which means many wont be on for a couple more weeks as they deal with this.

Many locations around the USA have also just gone through some major storms where there were power outages.

my point lots of reasons to hear crickets online right now. everyone will be back when they can.
