im staying on 20mgs/abilify for now. the prescriber added 150mgs/Wellbutrin xl. im happy its the xl form, not the sr...2x daily dosing is for the birds. the target dose is 300mgs, not the 400mgs i was taking years ago, when i started getting jittery (nothing scary...bad side of too much coffee kind of feeling, basically).

so, im thankful for modern psych drugs, to a point. abilify really is one of the better (best?) options for me and a lot of other people. I do have a question...

why do abilify+wellbutrin go so well together? i mean, way back when, i took adderall and abilify, and that...i dont recommend that combination. odd feeling...stimulated, tranquilized, and a sense of being both stimulated and tranquilized (read: space cadet). ritalin+abilify was surprisingly OK, except id get weird tics when my Ritalin LA capsule wore off. not fun...

so, wellbutrin+abilify. i hope it works well, this 2nd time around. seems to be a fairly common combination. :-)
