i had my youngest at 39 and started perimeno immediately after he was born. i am now 54 and have completed full menopause for close to 4 years now. i think it was his birth that set it off but also check if you are able your family history of when other females went through it. for instance my bio mother had almost finished when she passed at age 52 and her mother was completely done by age 50 so it isnt as uncommon as it might seem. hope this helps even a little
