Like you've said, you need to take care of yourself and a relationship is good only if both of you are getting something out of it. It doesn't seem like you're really happy with him. I'd suggest to start saving some money if you can. If things get worse, you'll at least have something in your hands if you decide to move. Please don't give up. Please don't feel guilty about what would happen if you left. It's not your fault and it's not your responsability. He has his own life and he needs to take some decision for himself.
