Remeron is bad for weight gain, even in a low dose, my experience at least.

I’m on Seroquel (regular release), no issues with weight gain though others have it. Tried timed release Seroquel, made me very groggy, could have increased appetite, not sure, not on it long.

I am like many with bipolar, on an antidepressant (Wellbutrin), mood stabilizer (Lamictal), atypical AP (Seroquel).

I have other meds for anxiety and panic disorder and sleep.

Had to see a new pdoc around a year ago, he gave me the ADHD diagnosis, I could have it, it could just be all these stupid meds. I guess I kept zoning out and not paying attention to him during appts. At any rate, I can focus to read now, watch a TV show, etc.

There really is no perfect or magic med cocktail out there. Everyone is different. If weight concerns you, Remeron might be partly to blame.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
two roads diverged in a wood, and I -
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
