I was curious if anyone who is allergic to cats is able to have a hypoallergenic cat.

I love cats and they seem so independent but attuned to their person. It feels very inviting to me to have a cat as an emotional support.

I’ve been reading about hypoallergenic cats and was wondering if they really were hypoallergenic.

The suggested breeds that I’ve read about are Siamese, Belinese and Russian Blue. The Russian Blue is pulling at my heart. They are so beautiful and their eyes seem to be able to see you.

I did see the hairless cats and they don’t really appeal to me.

Would anyone have any input or suggestions?

Are you allergic to cats and able to have one of the hypoallergenic cats with no allergy reactions?
