What kind of reaction are you looking for from the counselor?

A professional will not react the same way as a friend would. A counselor will be more calm and professional about it. They're not going to go into hysterics, and fall of their char. Their job IS to remain calm in order to truly help.

Please do go back to the counselor and give it a chance. You have to give therapy and help a chance. One or two times isn't enough to make any kind of difference. It takes dedication, commitment, and going back to the counselor week after week, allowing them to get to know you better.
