I was teased from kindergarten to about grade 7, not so much in grade 8 (although in the hall one day one girl punched me for an unknown reason, the only time I was ever physically assaulted in school). I was extremely sensitive and prone to burst into tears with very little provocation.

The teasing vanished completely when my family moved to a different area and I had to change schools -- I had a fresh start, and had finally gotten a bit of control over my sensitivity, so from that point onward there were no bullying problems.
