Yes. Overreacting with anger to situations that may not normally produce such strong feelings is a sign for me that the anxiety is taking over and often results in a panic attack.
I've learned from my T to use my feelings of anger as a tool to stop and all myself what's going on. Am I overreacting? Am I unconsciously about to go down the road of getting out of control, or am I really just angry at someone or a situation -in the moment-?
If I'm really pissed off, then I try to handle it in a positive way of allowing myself the right to be angry when it's warranted and work through it.
If it's just a sign of anxiety taking over, I try to remove myself, breathe, and stop it from going any further.
I'm not good at it yet.. But it seems like a good plan and it's about progress not perfection!
