I don't think it is wrong to expect the therapist to treat the whole time the client pays for with respect. He did not do so here - I think it is perfectly reasonable to call him out on it.
I don't believe that clients need put up with bad behavior from therapists. Women particularly seem to think they are only deserving of little crumbs of kindness and not make waves. To that I say ********.
